How To Make A Hopping Bunny

As part of LGBT month Cayce at Fighting Dreamer has challenged us to create something LGBT themed. Well,  the only thing I’m good at making is origami bunnies so I decided to make a rainbow bunny and show you lovely people how you can make your own cute little friend. All you need is a rectangular piece of card, I usually cut it down to the size of a business card.

21When you push down on his back your bunny will jump into the air! There are loads of things you can do with your bunny, such as:

1) Race a friend to see who can hop their bunny to the finish line first.

2) Challenge your friends to see whose bunny can hop the farthest.

3) Create an army of rainbow bunnies and take over the world!

My bunny is called Philip. See how he gloriously jumps the length of a DVD case down below:

  1. THIS IS SOOOO ADORABLE, REN! And such of a lovely named you gave to your bunny. When I make one of my own (which I definitely will at some point this month), I’m going to name it Felicity 😀 Oh, and Philip really can jump! He jumped through the adventure of The Hobbit faster than the actual characters did O_O

(Btw, Felicity is going to beat Philip down. When she is created. Someday. Be afraid, Philip, be afraid.)

    • Oh, now that’s fighting talk. Philip won’t go down easily ;). But maybe they’ll be so impressed with each other’s jumping skills that they decide to form a joint hopping team… I reckon they’d even be able to escape the clutches of Smaug with their hopping prowess!
