I’ve got quite a few fantasy books on the list My TBR list is full of fantasy books at the moment.
Truthwitch is the newest addition to my tbr because it came out very recently in the UK. I’ve been hearing a lot of hype about it on twitter and various blogs over the last few months. I simply could not ignore it so when it was released I picked it up straight away.
The Demon King is a book I’ve seen mentioned a few times around the web. But I’ve only recently decided that, yes, I will definitely read this book. Eventually. I think tumblr helped me finally take the plunge.
Ombria in Shadow, on the other hand, is a book I’ve been eyeing up for a long time but not heard much about. I’m hoping to have a found a bit of lost gem. The kindle sample certainly seemed good.
Illuminae was an impulse buy. I flicked through it in a bookshop and the formatting just looked super interesting.
The addition of A Natural History of Dragons can be explained in one word: Dragons. Enough said on that one.
The Darkest Part of the Forest, Half Bad, Six of Crows and The Copper Promise are all recent-ish (the ‘ish’ bit goes for The Copper Promise) book releases that I’ve purchased because they absolutely sound like my sort of thing. Mind you, if I was asked to define what exactly my sort of thing is I’d probably struggle to explain it. I’ll leave that topic for another day.
Kushiel’s Dart is on my TBR because I’ve seen it listed as a favourite by people who also enjoy one of my favourite book series, Doctrine of Labyrinths. So, I’m thinking, if they like Doctrine of Labyrinths like I do and also like Kushiel’s Dart then I should like Kushiel’s Dart as well. Totally logical, right?
Sorry for discussing the all out of sequence. But, anyway, that’s my list for this week. Thanks for reading!
Have you read any of these books? What have you recently added to your TBR list?
